В статье рассматривается самый трудный и интересный период в истории современной Монголии: крах социалистической Монголии в 1990 г. и создание нового общества. Основная проблема, с которой столкнулась Монголия в этот период, состояла в том, чтобы изменить страну согласно принципам демократии и рыночной экономики и в то же время сохранить ее национальные интересы, традиции и независимость.

This article examines the most difficult and interesting period in the history of contemporary Mongolia: the collapse of socialist Mongolia in 1990 and the building of a new society. The main problem that Mongolia has faced during this period is how to change the country according to the principles of democracy and market values and at the same time to preserve its national interests, traditions and independence.
