In the book the translation into Russian of the Tibetan version of the famous Sutra "The Teachings of Vimalakirti" ("Vimalakirtinirdesha-sutra") is presented. This Sutra contains the quintessence of the Mahayana Teachings about Buddha’s achievement of enlightenment and brightly describes the ideal of Boddhisattva- layman.
