Сборник содержит материалы «круглого стола», проведенного в рамках Международной научной конференции «Исторический опыт взаимодействия народов и цивилизаций: к 350-летию присоединения Бурятии к России» (28–30 июня 2011 г.) и посвящен актуальным проблемам морфологии и словообразования монгольских языков: монгольского, бурятского, калмыцкого, их освещению с позиций современного языкознания. Особое внимание уделено проблемам будущей Академической грамматики бурятского языка.

The book contains proceedings of a roundtable, which took place during the International scientific conference "Historical experience of interaction of peoples and civilizations: to the 350 anniversary of accession of Buryatia to Russia" (June 28-30, 2011). It is devoted to actual problems of morphology and word formation of the Mongolian languages: Mongolian, Buryat, Kalmyk, to their description from positions of modern linguistics. The special attention is paid to issues of future Academic grammar of the Buryat language.
