The collection contains the articles presented at the international academic conference “The World of Central Asia–V” dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Institute for Mongolian, Buddhist and Tibetan Studies of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences (June 30 – July 3, 2022, Ulan-Ude). The collection discusses the issues of history and contemporary development of the states and societies of Central and East Asia, the results of archaeological, ethnographic, philosophical, religious, linguistic, folkloristic and literary studies, gives an overview of the international relations of neighboring countries.
