Первая часть монографии содержит исправленную и дополненную редакцию книги «Человек у Байкала и мир Центральной Азии» (Улан-Удэ, 1995). Философский подход автора опирается на обширную базу источников и раскрывает цивилизационную специфику, историческую преемственность, гуманитарную содержательность суперэтнического мира кочевников Внутренней Азии, органической частью которого на протяжении двух тысячелетий был Байкальский регион. Во второй части, в главе 4, анализируется философская содержательность тэнгрианства, рассматриваемого посредством кросс-культурного метода в контексте мировой эзотерики и философского мистицизма. Глава 5 посвящена презентации буддизма как одного из важнейших факторов современных межцивилизационных взаимодействий и глобальной стратегии России.

The first part presents a revised edition of “The Baikal Region and the Central Asian World: A Philosophical Perspective on History”, originally published in Ulan-Ude in 1995. The author has significantly updated and expanded this work with new insights and corrections. The philosophical perspective, grounded in a comprehensive array of sources, seeks to uncover the unique characteristics and historical continuity of Inner Asian nomadic culture, to which Baikal has been intimately connected for two millennia. The study focuses on the humanitarian dimensions of the nomadsʼ super-ethnic history, exploring their worldviews, ecological, ethical, psychological, and political traditions, as well as their international relationships. In the second part, chapter 4 reveals the deep philosophical content of Tengrianity, considering it through cross-cultural analysis within the context of esoteric and philosophical, mystical traditions. Chapter 5 presents Buddhism as a significant factor in modern intercivilizational interactions and a necessary component of Russiaʼs evolving global strategy.
