These articles allow expanding notions of the readers of the situation in eastern Mongolia in 1939, to give an objective assessment of the events at Khalkhin Gol and their place not only in the history of Russia, Mongolia and Japan but also in world history.

Three-volume "Collection of works" of M.N. Khangalov was issued again in 45 years. It was firstly edited in 1958-1960 to the 100th anniversary of the scientist’s birth. The edition is issued in new art and technical and printing execution, the editor's alterations were carried out very correctly. The new edition of works of the ethnographer-researcher precedes M.N. Khangalov's 150-year anniversary. Now works of the scientist-ethnographer are the invaluable source on folklore, ethnography, and shamanism of the Buryats.
