Тексты улигеров «Хүйлэн хүхэ морьтой Хүхэлдэй Мэргэн хүбүүн» («Ездящий на сивом коне парень Хухэлдэй Мэргэн») и «Хүхэрдэй Мэргэн» («Хухэрдэй Мэргэн») на бурятском языке сопровождаются параллельным переводом на русский язык, комментариями и примечаниями. Также даны словарь непереведенных слов, сведения о текстах и принципах их публикации, список использованной литературы.

The book is a scientific bilingual edition of the heroic tales (uligers) of the Buryats recorded in the Bokhanskii and Ehirit-Bulagatskii districts of the Irkutsk region in the 1930s and 1940s by the famous scientist and collector Sergei Petrovich Baldaev. The texts of the uligers "Huilen huhe moritoi Huheldei Mergen hubuun" ("The guy riding a gray horse Huheldei Mergen") and "Huherdei Mergen" ("Huherdei Mergen") in Buryat are accompanied by a parallel translation into Russian, comments and notes. A dictionary of untranslated words, information about the texts and the principles of their publication, and a list of references are also given.

Издание книги преследует две взаимосвязанные цели: а) социолингвистическую концептуализацию понятия языковое сознание в его соотношении с понятием языковые установки и б) основанное на этих теоретических предпосылках практическое исследование языкового сознания, языковых установок и речевого поведения жителей приграничных территорий востока России — Республики Бурятия и Забайкальского края, т.е. Забайкалья в целом. Рассматривается также языковая ситуация в Забайкалье в синхронном и диахронном аспектах, причем впервые объектом анализа становятся не только государственные, но и иностранные языки, функционирующие в данном регионе.

This book pursues two interrelated goals: a) a sociolinguistic conceptualization of the notion of language consciousness and its relation to the notion of language attitudes; b) a practical study of language consciousness, language attitudes and speech behavior of residents of the border territories of the Russian East — the Republic of Buryatia and the Transbaikal Kray, i.e. Transbaikalia as a whole. The book also analyzes the linguistic situation in Transbaikalia in synchronous and diachronic aspects taking into consideration not only state languages but also foreign languages functioning in this region.

Показано, что сегодня динамику развития философской и общественно-политической мысли Китая обусловливают идеи Мао Цзэ-дуна, Дэн Сяопина, Цзян Цзэминя, Ху Цзиньтао, Си Цзиньпина. Их идеи не противопоставляются друг другу, а органически сочетаются, образуя достаточно сложную идеологическую систему, охватывающую и социальные, и гуманистические ценности.

The monograph is devoted to the study of the philosophical thought of China – Confucianism, Taoism, Buddhism and Marxism, which have been transformed in the modern social, cultural and political realities of China. It is shown that today the dynamics of the development of philosophical and socio-political thought in China are determined by the ideas of Mao Tse-tung, Deng Xiaoping, Jiang Zemin, Hu Jintao, Xi Jinping. Their ideas are not opposed to each other, but are organically combined, forming a rather complex ideological system that encompasses both social and humanistic values.

В монографии рассматриваются вопросы социально-политической истории даурского народа в XX в. Автором показана роль представителей даурской элиты в сохранении фактически независимого положения Хулун-Буира, а также вклад даурской революционной молодежи в создание и деятельность Народно-революционной партии Внутренней Монголии, в международном политическом взаимодействии в первой трети XX в. Далее последовательно изучены историческое развитие даурского народа в периоды Маньчжоу-Го и Китайской Народной Республики, вопросы обретения даурами статуса официально признанной народности, создания и последующего становления и развития национальных автономий. Рассмотрены также такие аспекты, как развитие сферы культуры и образования в даурских районах.

For the first time in Russian Oriental studies, this monograph offers an in-depth study of social and political history of the Daur people in the twentieth century. The author highlights the role of representatives of the Daur elite in preserving the de facto independent position of Hulun-Buir, as well as the contribution of Daur revolutionary youth to the creation and activity of the Inner Mongolia People's Revolutionary Party in the international political interaction in the first third of the twentieth century. Then he consecutively studies the historical development of the Daur people in Manchukuo and the People’s Republic of China, the issues of the Daur people obtaining the status of officially recognized nationality, the creation, subsequent formation and development of national autonomy. Such aspects as the development of culture and education in the Daur regions are also considered.
